We provide high-resolution photographs of collection objects, exhibitions and the museum building for research, teaching and publication.
Our services
We license digital images for your intended use. New photographs of objects not yet documented can be arranged on request. Fees depend on the intended use.
From your request to the image
Please allow four to six weeks for processing. Submit your request at least six weeks before publication. New photography requires at least three months.
After reviewing your request, we will send you a digital usage agreement for signature. Our accounts department will then issue an invoice. Credit card payment is not available. Image files will be delivered within eight weeks of receipt of payment.
Images from the Online Collection
Low-resolution images in our Online Collection may be used free of charge under CC BY 4.0 with the specified attribution. Please check the information accompanying each image.
